Hard times.

Hello allies!

A lot of you said I have changed for the worst.
I have to apologies to everyone who thinks that.

I have been going through some rough stuff back home.

My mother and father are getting a divorce after 20 strong years.
Its really hard on my younger sisters, and I wish I could be home to take care of them.

Also, me and my girlfriend of 2 and a half years broke up.

Life is rough right now. I am sorry if I have been a little off lately.

For everyone who has been supportive these last couple months; thank you.

You guys are pretty much all I got right now.

So, thanks for always putting a smile on my face :)

SUMMER EP itunes preorder

The Summer EP is now up on Itunes for preorder. It’s all 6 songs from the EP plus the Itunes only bonus track LIAR LIAR, which comes free if you order the full EP.

In Philadelphia now; the band has been separated for 4 weeks, so there could be some crying on stage since everyone has missed each other a bunch.

Here are the answers to some of your questions.

Do your tattoos have meaning?

My tattoos are very special to me. I put a lot of thought and time in deciding what I want as an addition.

My arms represent “life and death”; “beginning and end”; “good and evil”.
My chest is the center piece; “love is my weapon”. I attempt a life of love.
My left foot has a peace sign on it. I try to walk with the intent of spreading peace.
My right wrist has “faith” in hebrew across it. It is a reminder of my Jesus.

I want to be a piece of art and expression.

Does it bother you that people download your music illegally?

I think as the times change and the economy crashes and burns; I want you guys to be able to get a hold of my music anyway you can. So…no, it does not bother me. I just want you to be able to listen and vibe the tunes. . . download for free :P

Why did you start smoking?

Well, I am just going to come clean…I have been smoking cigarettes since I was 14 years old. It has always been a vent for me. I understand the consequences, and I have tried to quit several times…but, it has always just been my thing. Don’t smoke kiddos :)

Do you like talking to fans?

I sure do! I think you guys are the greatest. I love to hear how you view life and such. I love the people that have enough guts to come and converse like regular people with me. Those are my favorite! <3

Did you sign?

Warner Brothers is my new partner, and they are helping me with my own label called “Loveway Records”. That way I can release all of my music through my own label. It’s actually pretty nifty. Also, I can sign bands that I really believe in! That is very exciting for me. This is very fresh news. Woohoo :)

Tour with Boys Like Girls + MTVU Festival
Current mood: Ecstatic

We are really excited to announce we’ll be doing a 4 week tour with BOYS LIKE GIRLS starting on June 19th!!!!!!!!!!!!! Most of the dates will be posted tonight with a few more to be added next week. Tickets for the tour are available starting today. These are at some rad venues as well as a few stops at SiX Flags.

4 weeks kinda seems like FOREVER when compared to The Little Tiny Tour (4 days) which starts tomorrow. (please come hang out, this tour is going to be really fun and relaxing)

Right after Boys Like Girls, we’ll be doing a run of shows with the MTVU SUNBLOCK FESTIVAL as well as a few dates at SIX FLAGS (this is mostly cuz we hope to get free ride tickets).

That’s all for now. Packing up for the mini tour and cramming into the van for a few days of fun in the sun with friends. Joplin’s local superhero, Carter Hulsey, will be opening up for the shows this week.

We had a bunch of giant, green foam hands made for Bamboozle and we added all the ones left to the MERCHNOW store (we’ll also have some on the road this week)
